What is Baikal Winteriada:
What is It? Baikal Winteriada 2003 is an international Baikal Nordic Games Festival. The events will take part during March 2003, and will include Ice-Fishing competitions, Ski competitions, Jeep Trials, Snowmobiles races, and much more.
Organizers: Baikal Winteriada 2003 is organized by Irkutsk Government, local active-sports organizations, and the leading travel companies in that region. It is aimed at promoting Baikal as the destination for all kinds of activities in Winter.
How to Participate: You can take an active part as a participant or a spectator. Event Calender and Descriptions The events include: ice-yachting, ski marathon and alpine skiing championships, snowmobile racing, ice-fishing. If you would like to participate, please, hurry up to apply. Otherwise, you can always come as a spectator and still take part in some events, that don't require registration. |
