Way to Russia Roadtrip

It's our 10-year anniversary at WayToRussia.Net in 2011 and we decided to celebrate it in a very special way that involves our readers. More than 35% of the 1.5 million people who read our site every year come from the US, so we decided to make a road-trip through America and (finally!) meet our readers face to face.

The idea is to create a documentary made from the short interviews with our readers. We will ask you about the impressions you had in Russia, your favorite experiences, stories – and publish it all online, followed by a DVD. The documentary will be accompanied by the blog posts featuring the most interesting excerpts and photographs.
 
Our slogan at Way to Russia has always been "Made by travelers from Russia for travelers worldwide" and now we really want to live up to it somehow and give the voice to all the people who supported us during these years. We believe that it is your stories that count the most and we would love you to share them with the others. And our only function will be to facilitate this.

To help us planning, post the city you live in the US and the time frame when you would like to be visited – and we will contact you directly to arrange the interview. You don't really need to prepare: the more immediate your stories will be, the better. And, of course, if you have a place to stay for us just for a night, that will be awesome! The trip will take place some time this summer, probably in two parts: end of May to end June and then in September. We will decide on the exact dates after we finalize the itinerary with all the participants.
