Tandoori Nights.
Right next to the long-established Indian restaurant Tandoor, Tandoori Nights specializes in the London style of Indian cuisine, apparently the place where Indian food is evolving the most. Part of a small international chain that started in London,
there is Indian chef from England's capital on hand to ensure authenticity. Tandoori Nights doesn't have an elaborate interior, but it's classy enough and the ornate Indian marriage chairs at the entrance are a nice touch. The background bangra tracks also add to the feel. The service is meticulous and perhaps even overbearing, but this makes a nice change from many other restaurants. At any rate, most important here is the food, which is delicious. The menu is full of so many treats you'll have a hard time choosing and the chefs aren't afraid to make the meals hot. Reasonable prices mean you can easily afford to indulge in starters and even desserts. An average main is around 400R ($15) while an average bill per person is about 700R ($26). If you have a craving for Indian in St Petersburg, Tandoori Nights is the answer.
