Krasnoyarsk Hotels and Accommodation

Krasnoyarsk center is quite compact and there's a whole range of hotels to suit any budget and demands. Normally, a double room in a 3-star hotel costs about $30, but you can find cheaper options in smaller hotels (from $15 per double). Some hotels allow shared accommodation, which allows you to save some money.
Perhaps, if you are ready to spend $20 per night, your best choice would be Hotel Krasnoyarsk. There's everything you may need (restaurant, ATM, currency exchange, souvenir shop, clean rooms) and location is quite good to access both center and Stolby national park.


Hotel Krasnoyarsk. The main hotel in Kranoyarsk located in a typical "Intourist"-like concrete building on the main square of the city. The view from the hotel is great: Enisey river and pedestrian square. The rooms are clean and neat, the service is helpful too (although a bit "cold").
In the lobby of the hotel you can buy all kinds of souvenirs, travel guides (mostly in Russian), photo-albums, and postcards. There's also a cafe and a restaurant.
There's a business center with internet access (whopping $4 / hour), copy, print-out, and coputer services. Laudry services cost $1 per item. Sauna & fitness center. Visa registration is provided for foreigners. There's also a 24-hour ATM.
Single rooms cost $25-$40 per night, double rooms (on photo the room for $30 / night) cost $15-$25 per person per night. These rooms have a separate shower and toilet, TV, telephone, desk, beds.
If you don't want shared accommodation, you just need to pay for two persons. Higher quality suites (so called "lux") start at $70 US per night. These suites have two or three rooms, renovated interior, better furniture, separate shower, bathroom, and toilets and look quite pretty in fact.
Breakfast is $5 extra.

Hotel "Gostiny Dvor". A small hotel located on the main Krasnoyarsk street - Prospekt Mira. The interior stayed unchanged since the Soviet times, so it's not very neat, but low prices make this hotel attractive for budget-concious Russian travelers.
Single and double rooms start at $7 per night per person. The toilets and showers are outside in the corridor. Visa registration in not provided.
