Internet Cafes, Post, and International Telephone in Ulan-Ude:
“Burnet” Internet cafe
The 24 hours internet café and the cheapest international telephone in the city. It is opened by the biggest telecom provider in Buryatia – Burnet (http://www.burnet.ru). The interior is simple, neat and dark. There are always young
people and teenagers playing games, so you might have to wait about 10 minutes before getting in.
A guy telephoning in Ulan-Ude
The internet costs 30 R ($1) for 1 hour, there are also such services as scanning, CD recording, printing out etc. The international phonecall costs as little as 6R ($0.2) a minute, a phonecall to Moscow costs about 3 R ($0.1).
Open: 24 hours a day, however you might have to knock on the door for a while to get in during the night.

International calls and Internet center
As you enter the building you find yourself in the hall packed with phones, to call someone go to the operator and write down the number you need. To get to the Internet pass in the next room – there are about 20 computers with fast internet access over there. The hour costs 1 USD. Be prepared that people will be standing behind you and gazing in your monitor – they are not offending you, but just interested in the new technologies.

Located on Lenina square, in front of the photoshop. Opened daily 8.30 to 18.00, sunday day off.

Calling from the city & mobile phones.
The office of a local cell phone operator is located in front of Geser hotel. It is quite expensive to subscribe and the calls are costly. It's better to buy a telephone card and use it from local taxophones.
