Try as I might, Jojo, I can't even imagine what that would be like. I wonder how loud the purring would be, if 130 cats did it at the same time. Laughing

Is it time to break out the lead-lined hip boots? It's gettin' deep in here.

I'm not suprise that Russia will intervene the independence of Kosovo. I've been talking about this subject for awhile. I agree with Russia that the Albanians have no right to Kosovo, historically or politically. Granted, Kosovo is about 97% Albanian today, but it wasn't long ago that there was a significant Serbian population in that region for hundreds of years. Today most Serbs moved out because they were forced out by the Albanians who terrorized the Serbian population that remained after the bombing of Belgrade by Americans. Hopefully, NATO will realize that they are committing genocide of "Serbian Church history". Shocked

That was an interesting diversion, Gomer. Thanks. The queer pictures really aren't doing it for me.

As usual BC, you don't have anything to contribute to this forum just being your usual self, which is a pernicious judgemental person. I'm glad you're in the woods of Sorrento, BC...keep you away from society.

Kosovo is probably the most important issue that europe needs to deal with...but it is unfortunate that the west is selling it out for oil pipelines. Looks like we would rather deal with the muslims then the Russians. If the Serbs win then Kosovo and Serbia and that region will side with Russia and give them control and influence there. If the Albanians keep control then the West will hae influence at the cost of the region becoming muslimfied. It's unfortunate that the rhetoric coming out of Russia today is so anti and hostile towards the west...because it exastbetes the whole issue. This is historical stuff that is going on. It's the return of the Ottoman Empire. The true conquering of any culture, Land, people, etc, etc...is done via populations and not militarily or politically. Bad stuff going on in Kosovo. Let's also not forget...Italy is a huge influence in the region

It's funny because Italy is in a weird situation. It has ties with Albania since Albania was occupied by Italy and protected during WWII. Children in Albania and Kosovo learn Italian as a second language. There's a large Albanian population in the southern city of Bari and the ancient Albanian communities from the 15th century that settled in Sicily and Calabria during the Ottomon Turk invasions. So, you have the Albanian diaspora in Italy watching to see what it will do concerning Kosovo. Also, many of these Albanians are Christian and Muslim, however, they aren't divided on the issue of Kosovo, they want to see a Greater Albania regardless of religion, it's more of a nationality issue. Italy is also an ally of Serbia and has Italian Nato troops protecting the small Serbian population in Kosovo. I don't know what Italy will do in this situation. Surf you are also right about Islamization of Kosovo; not only do some Muslim Albanians see a far greater advantage to spread Islam in Europe, but other countries such as, Iran, Iraq, Syria and of course Turkey.

Yes well definitely Turkey I am sure wants a great influence there. So really then the situation comes down to a Russia vs the West scenerario. Thing is...russia will never beable to compete with the west economically and ultimately again we could very easily out do Russia. Because it lakes the population...the infrastructure....and really the know how. And the main thing too is that the wealth is in the hand of too few...who are too corrupt. It might be good to use the anti west rhetoric to rally the people...but what happens when the cause for which they rally is realized just to be a fraud? Russia then becomes isolated and tuned out by the rest of the world. Anyways...I hope all situations result in the best out comes for all of us

If Russia keeps up the anti-West rhetoric it will just seperate itself from the World and again do what it wants to do with its people. Here is a good youtube video talking about Russia before and after Communism.

A. In Russia, Muslims are trying to spread and expand. They are establishing whole districts of Muslim Chechens, Azeris, Uzbeks, and others in Moscow. Among other things.

B. In the Balkans, Kosovo Muslim Albanians, and Albania itself, with obvious help of Turkey, try to spread and take over. Back in the 90s, Slobodan Milosevic of Yugoslavia tried to stop this, but NATO bombed his country, destroyed it, preferring to help Islamists instead. Hundreds, thousands of East Orthodox Churches were burned by Albanians, but everyone chose to ignore this fact, even after a team, led by Russian rock star Yuri Shevchuk, risked their lives to make a film about the whole thing.

C. In France, there are whole towns full of Muslim Arabs and Africans.

D. In the UK, London, there are now more mosques then Protestant Temples.

E. In Spain, there are hundreds of thousands of Muslim immigrants from places like Morocco, who are not even thinking about adapting to Western ways.

F. In Germany, in Berlin, there are thousands of Turkish Muslims.

G. In Netherlands, there are now thousands of Muslims.

H. In Italy, they are building yet another mosque.

Shall I go on, or is the trend here pretty clear?

See, you Westerners were scared of Communism, so you helped Afgan Muslim terrorists defeat Soviet Communists. The problem is, that by this, you unleashed an Evil, far greater then Communism, or Nazism, or Fascism. You unleashed Jihad. The Taliban. Al-Quaeda.

You could very well be right Ruskii...but don't let your Canadian Buddy BCBUD AKA Ducky hear you...he supports the Muslim movement.
