hello,
I have a friend in Russia and found out that she has a MTS mobile phone. Lately when ever I have been calling it would say that "the subcriber is unavailble right now, please call back later." Is there a chance that she truned her service off all together, and its not just the power to her phone is off?

Maybe two things, usually when the automative operator says this, it's either a prepaid phone and she is out of minutes or she needs to pay her bill.

Ok, thank you.
As long as it doesn't happen if she would have cancled the service.
I appreciate your response!!!

If she canceled, then there would be no message. I had a prepaid phone and when I ran out of minutes, the same automative response would pick up when my friends called.

Great, thank you.
Yeah I know her last phone was prepaid, so this one probably is too.
I'll keep calling and hope she puts more money on:)
Thank you again!!!!

Yeah, it is a matter of loading minutes...pain in the butt..I got rid of that phone...right in the middle of a conversation the phone runs out of minutes and it quits on you. Mad Wink

Yeah,
Not that I doubted you, but you were exactly right. She sent me a message a couple hours after your post. I just didn't think it would take her four days to do so!!! Thanks again
