Interestingly, there are no Russian airports listed. |
No# 5 of 10 is the worst...I can't believe this plane drops off the cliff and then you pray your plane flies...that is unbelievable...I would have to take a pill before getting on this plane..something strong... |

A bush pilot might make good money charging thrill-seeking passengers to land then take off from that runway.
Some Russian airport runways might be scarier than others but they didn't make the 'list'. |

I wonder if the bush pilot wears a parachute and has an eject button just in case...
I think if I wanted a thrill ride I would stick to a roller coaster at a amusement park. Falling off a cliff purposely in a plane with a bush pilot then dropping downwind 2,000 feet would make me **** my pants.
If Russian runways weren't on the list then maybe they should have a worst pilot list. I am going to think about all this when I get on the plane in New York in June when I take off on the runway for Russia. I maybe wearing a parachute on the plane. |

| Heheh.......I know that approach into JFK, as I just did it coming back from Florida a few weeks back. The planes fly over Rockaway, which is where I spent part of my growing up. They fly directly over the Edgemere projects, and I remember when the 747's first came out. They would shake everything in the apartment when they came directly overhead. |

| Ever wonder why everyone claps when you plan lands in Russia ? I have been all over the world in various size cargo planes. I think Russian pilots are great. Never had any really bad flight experiences other than landing a little to hard and fast a few times. Dave |

Polish Pilots' Poor English Almost Causes Mid-Air Collision

Well, at least they weren't Russian pilots.
Note: Although this incident happened in June 2007, it took a year to complete the investigation. |

Imagine a performance of an artist. Good performance - everyone in the concert hall alive, bad performance - everyone dead. So if everyone alive then artist is good and performance was good also. So we are clapping every time when artist... er-r-r pilot finishes his performance. |

Well, each time a pilot succeed in landing his plane properly he save also his own life. By the way, he is also paid for that, that's why I 've always found ridiculous people clapping after a landing. |

Does his life and his salary worth to be mentioned if he crashes a plane and kills everyone? No. I don't see a difference with succesfull landing here.
Personally I don't like planes, unless I'm in control. |
