hi

just wanted to tell you that the original of the visa support letter is not needed for switzerland (your faq tells that it is needed). After the visa support letter company told us, it would cost 60$ to send it hear, we called the consulate and asked them about it. They said that a copy (print out of the email) is enough.
Maybe you should correct your faq...
(ok didn't get the visa yet, but i guess they told me the truth on the phone)

Thanks for the update. We'll wait till you get your visa then – please let us know if everything goes smoothly and what documents they require. What about insurance?

hi!
I got 2 visas from Russian consulate in Geneva.
- for tourist single entry visa, e-mail or fax is enough, no original invitation needed
- for multiple entry business visa, the consulate told me they needed the original invitation.

what kind of visa did you get?

I forgot about insurance :
for Swiss citizens, no insurance is needed, for any visa.
they ask an insurance for foreigners living in Switzerland
