Hello everyone, this is my first post, i hope someone could answer it. I looked at the sticky, however, i was wondering if there are some easier ways besides doing a homestay visa.

I am an american and will be staying with a friend at her family’s home for no more than 3 months. Instead of doing a homestay visa, is it possible to do a business visa? I know homestays are very complicated process and maybe there is another easier way.

Please, any advice would be great. This will be my first trip to a foreign country, i would like for everything to go well with no complications:D

Just buy a business invitation and get a business visa for 90 days.

It is easier and if you count how much time a private invitation costs, then you are sure you want just to pay a little bit more and take the business visa..

And you don't have to do what the name says, so you don't have to do business..
