Hello I'm elrudojaguar and I wish to travel to Russia for the first time in October. I will be applying as a tourist. I have many questions in filling out the application, I hope it is O.K. to ask. I downloaded the application from the San Fransisco Consulate website.

1. On question 9) It asks for a Russian institution or organization to be visited. What does this mean? I will stay in a hotel, but I will meet a Russian friend in St. Petersburg. Do I have to write down my friends information?

2. On question 15) It asks for the type of passport. My pass port says Type P. What does Type P mean? Do I write Type P or check tourist?

3. On question 16) I will not travel with a tourist group. What is the proper thing to write when a question does not apply not me? Should I leave it blank? Or is N/A O.K. to write down? N/A is not applicable.

4. On question 27) The only country outside the U.S. I have been to is Mexico. At the times I have visited Mexico, passports were not required. Do I still write all the times I have visited Mexico?

5. On question 28 ) I have not been issued a passport by another country. Is "None" the correct way to write down? Or do I leave it blank?

6. On question 29) I have only had One job in my life. What do I write down for the two spaces provided? Should I write "N/A" or leave blank?

7. On question 30) The technical school I attended is now closed. Do I just write the name with the old address it had with the old phone number?

8. On question 31) I have not participated in any organization or charity. Is "N/A" O.K. to write down or leave blank?

Do they really need email addresses?

If I take all the documents directly to the consulate, will I be able to get my visa that very day if I pay for the same day process?

If I get a Russian Visa, but for some reason I do not end up traveling, will I be granted a visa in the future?

I have terrible hand writing, is there a way to write on the pdf application I downloaded form the San Francisco website?

I am sorry for so many questions. I know some might sound very easy but I really want to have it right the first time. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

THANK YOU
