I've already got a tourist visa for my trip in Russia this summer.

The only problem is that I stated in the visa form that I was arriving in Russia with an autobus.
Now I'm changing my program and would like to arrive by train. Is it possible or is it going to create me problems at the border?

I'm not even sure that this information is written on the passport!

Thanks
Teo

I really don't think that it matters how you get there. I would imagine that it is not even written on the visa itself. The visa is to allow you to enter the country by whatever means.

Yes, it doesn't matter how you enter Russia, but make sure that you do not need transit visas for the countries that you will go through on your way to Russia. Avoid going through Belorussia as the visa is required for citizens of almost all countries. The safest route would be Poland - > Lithuania (Kaunas) -> Latvia (Riga) -> Russia, but check if you need visas to any of these countries on the consulates' websites.
