My fiancee is coming to the UK on a fiancee visa next year, intending to stay in the UK.

Which airline has the best baggage allowance from Moscow to any UK airport - but preferably as close to Hull as possible?

Hi Paul,

As far as I am aware, most international airlines have a luggage allowance of 20kgs and 7kgs of hand luggage. You can pay to take extra luggage. If you contact the airlines they will give you the exact details, as some airlines will have higher charges than others.

The luggage, It depends on the airlines and sometimes what class you are flying. Some airlines provide cheap costs on luggage charges as well as airline tickets. You can also check them with your airline. I have got some information on these baggage details after visiting 'faa.gov.'.

Yes, 20kg seems typical for in-hold baggage and 10kg for hand luggage. There are so many airlines flying from Moscow to UK so, I need to find out who they all are and check their websites.

Excess baggage can be really expensive. On cheap airlines is can be more expensive than paying to take an extra passenger with their own baggage allowance!

Also, some airlines have reward schemes which allow pasengers to take extra luggage free of charge.
