Without context it's difficult.
second sentence is "Every weekend *unmatched parenthesis*"
The first one _literally_ translates as 'passion' but can mean really anything like exclamation of awe or fear, depending on (newsflash!) context.

Sara,

What Vox meant by "his language is translit?" is that the Russian language should be written using the cyrillic alphabet, although to save time a lot of Russians write the words phonetically using the Latin alphabet, which is called transliteration.
