subaru360sd - Your trip from Tokyo to Europe sounds quite fascinating. Is it to the UK you are going? I would like to ask you a few questions as I have been thinking of doing this kind of trip for a long time.
1. Can you drive your Japanese car on normal Japanese number plates or do you need international plates?
2. Can you take the car out of Japan without an export certificate?
3. Can you go the whole way to Western Europe without a carnet de passage? (I know European vehicles must have a carnet to enter Japan plus Japanese number plates).
4. Is the new section of the Transsiberian Highway sealed yet or does it just have a gravel surface?
I would be grateful for your reply.
Many thanks.
