Hello!
My husband and i are planning to visit Vladivostok, then take a trip to china for three or five days.
I'm a Russian citizen and my husband is an American.
I know that i will not have any problems entering both countries with my passport. My husband is going to have double entry Russian visa.
Does he need any visa to go to china?
Will he be able to get this visa in Russia?
How much and how long does it take to get the Chinese visa??

Thanks for any advise.

As a Russian citizen you need a visa for China. In fact, you will probably need a business visa because (so far as I am aware) Russians are not allowed to travel on Chinese tourist visas independently - only as part of a tour group. There are plenty of agencies in Moscow in St Petersburg that can get a Chinese business visa for you. Probably there is a place in Vladivostok that can help as well.

Your husband will need either a double-entry business visa for Russia or two separate tourist visas. You can't exit to China and re-enter Russia on a double-entry tourist visa.

He will also need a tourist visa for China. This takes about 4 days processing and costs $130. He should apply in the US. There is more information about visas for China on our new website here:
