Where in Moscow can we purchase russian silverware (for daily use, not the historical souvenir type)? Would Gum sell it? What other types of stores sell it? We're looking for silver-coated stainless steel utensils (something like 'melhior')?

Thanks

Go to "Gorbushka" -- metro Bagrationovskaya (light blue line, west Moscow), which is also a huge pirate CD, DVD and software market.
They have a whole floor occupied by inexpensive shops that sell good-quality utencils for everyday use with guarantee. I bought mine there. It's opened from 10.00 till 21.00 daily.

Thank you very much. Will the store be visible once we get out of the metro? Or do we need an address (i.e. it is not easily found)?

You can find it rather easily. Once you get out of the metro station, you have to cross the street and walk a short way. I believe that there is a big sign, and that is where most people will be going to / coming from.
