hello!

My question could be a bit stupid, or with some exagerated mind, but what could happen at airport or somewhere else in Russia, when there are some events like the crashes of the planes?
I mean, the controls may be more long?

thank you

No, I don't think it would affect the controls, unless there's a proof that a certain incident happened because of some terrorist attack, which is not the case.

I flew into the USA into Boston airport only 10 days after the 9/11 attacks. Boston was where the attackers got onto at least one of the flights. I was in Boston for 3 days. The baggage control took longer than it had before 9/11. However, I have recently returned from Russia flying on three different internal flights in Russia. In my opinion, the baggage controls there are already very thorough so I don't think there will be a problem unless they consider you to be suspicious.

I carry several electronic devices in my carry-on rucksack so I often have to stop and unpack things at the X-ray, whether I'm in London or Canada or the USA. And it happened to me on two of the three internal flights in Russia. So I would say you should expect some thorough security but they are used to doing this so they will have enough staff.

Just don't be late for check-in. That is part of the strategy used by the terrorists to get on the two flights that went down recently. The Russians will now be watching closely for any type of suspicious behavior like this.
