I hate girls that have too much money because 95% of the time their expectations from you are way too high. As in - they want you to spend alot on them. Then there are also the ones that think of themselves as being the center of the world, think that you are nothin without them and very bluntly say "buy me this" "buy me that". I prefer the middle. They are usually smart and not spoiled and are more understanding.

When I lived in Canada and hooked up with a girl that had the "over the top independent attitude" (which I did not know she had before I hooked up - she seemed to aquire it only AFTER we hooked up) I just very clearly explained to her everything I thought of her and told her that I do not want to see her untill she changes her attitude.

I wouldn't pay attention to the $$$ money post. I had this conversation with a poor Russian dentist, he asked me how he could find an American wife, preferably with some money. I told him I suppose it's possible but she probably won't be cute. My reply disappointed him, I think he preferred to be poor. A few girls told me it's customary for a Russian man to show his admiration by giving her money, but I think this was a ploy to get some cash. Public kissing: Mexico rules there. I found it a little odd, but cute, seeing retired couples making out in the Wal-Mart aisles in Acapulco (PS: that's one huge Wal-Mart there).
As to scandalouz_alb's scheming leech boyfriend, if we all perhaps chip in 100 rubles to the Russian mafia, perhaps we can afford to get them to apply a baseball bat to him.
onward to Zeus (no lack of humility in that handle) "Guys hate chicks with tons of money" ... huh? HUH? what chicks have a ton of money? I'm a guy, I would not hate such a woman, if she existed.

...???? {it must be a joke posting}. I know some workaholic/self-made women in Moscow, they are very sweet and real. A girl who's got a career and makes money's got her act together, and correspondingly her personality. Maby he's referring to the hookers on окружная дорога? Or just insanity?

A few remarks from me.

From my own experience (being a few times in Russia, and living anong the normal people), russian woman have a normal attitude towards the normal human values, like a family, respect, trust, etc. Only a lot of russian men have a serious alcohol problem, and therefor there is also a tendency to domestic physical violence. Russian women tend to marry early in life (if you are not married by 26, there is something wrong with you), but they don't see the consequences of married life. And often, after the first child is born, the man goes his own way, not bothering about wife and family. Often he has an affair with other women. This breaks up a lot of marriages in Russia and Ukraine.(ofcourse not of all) And it breaks the trust of women in the our countrymen, so to speak.

Because of these reasons, they often go looking somewhere else, mostly abroad their own country. They also see what happens in their surroundings with the relationships of their friends , and they hope to get a better and more normal life, to raise a family, with a partner from another country.

Russian women are indeed somewhat different than western women (in regard to clothing, behaviour, etc), but i think, that is the beautiful thing about a mixed relationship. I have a russian partner, so i speak from my own experience.

And besides that, i think the most beautiful women live in Russia and the Ukraine, nothing compares with that (my opnnion once again).

I recently visited St Petersburg - my old home town - the first time in 10 years. I heard so many stories about beautiful russian women. But I have to say, I saw very few women on the street that I would call beautiful. I felt there are many more beautiful women on the street of New York than in St Petersburg. I saw a few beauties on the street there - but they looked just as snobbish and unaccessible as model types here. Maybe it's due to the fact that St Petersburg became a glamorous city and the beauty is now appreciated more.

I realise that a lot of women here are real fashion victims. Maybe that's why they look 'snobbish'. But anyway, that's only their outer appearance! They could be completely different people on the inside.
