| P.S. I'm glad to see that you're as much a fan of cowbell as I am. I think that everything could use a little bit more cowbell! |

If the world would utilize the cowbell, we wouldn't have nearly as many problems! The cowbell is almost as important as the spork! |

| You have no idea how life-changing this is for me right now. I haven't laughed this much in weeks... especially from the section on spork poetry!!!! I really should be writing an essay right now, but this is so much better! |

The spork is cool but you're neglecting the knork.

Diana,
I live not far from you and I can share my thoughts about young russian girls abroad.
Read your post one more time. You have been for 2 years only in US but you have a permanent russian boyfriend an some experience with more broad-minded american ones. Other guys want to date you and get astonished when you refuse. Why? May be you have deserved a reputation? May be your understanding of freedom is too specific? And I would not blame your russian ex-boyfriend for being unhappy with your style of life. When you have more freedom you have to learn how to use it correcly. Sometimes neophites are more saint then The Pope of Rome. Watch you life. |

--Well, the fact that there is not much to be said about Russian men is because first of all there are not that many of them.
Actually, appr. 48% of all Russians.
--On my three month trip to Russia (from the European part to the republic of Buryatia in Siberia), I met only a few men, decent enough to have a talk with.
Why did not you look for russian men somewhere in Chine for example. At least Buryatia is not so russian republic. And Siberia has not so much russians too.
--In general I met a lot of men who are either weak-charactered and not able to resist the excessive use of alcohol, with all problems following.
And all of them were russian? Are you sure?
--Another point is that Russian men haven't seem to start realising yet that a woman is not an object that has to be conquered and that has to obey his commands.
Who told you about that? In Russia usually a man who must conquere a woman and obey HER. It's a bride-business fairy story.
-- That is also another important point why you don't hear much about Russian men, because they are not always the nicest persons for a man-woman relationship.
One more urban legend from the same business.
-- That's why a lot of Russian women fall in love with foreigners and therefore you hear much more about them outside of Russia than about men.
Trust baby, trust . They are just romantic ladies who want to see the world but do not have a chance to immigrate because of strict selection procedures.
Sometimes, gold-diggers.
--This was just my general observation, and some of what the Russian women told me when I was there.
I do not blame them. If it's convenient for them I do not blame them for this lie. I will survive that if it helps a woman to find a better, in her opinion, life. But for you I'd stricltly advise not to judge where you are ignorant. |

You are right!! It is time for Russia to kill more of its youth so they can build another damn monument in Moscow. They are really good at it. Hi Ho Hi Ho off to get killed in Chechyn I go.
Russia is grand beautiful country, but the people have a traditional of misery. They remind of Prometheus. They are always in torment, but they always survive. Once things get better some leaders pride will get hurt and they will destroys everything.
I have talked to some many that want this cycle to end of thievery and war, but they are not willing to break their traditions and look at the outside world.
Chechyn 3 coming in 2004. |
Are you sick?
And do not even say you are not. |
