During that period of time, we plan to make several side trips, perhaps to Bulgaria and other parts of Eastern Europe. Assume I need a multiple entry business visa, with need to register after every side trip? or can I register in Moscow only once, with side trips without re-registering? (wife has Russian passport, only important for me.) Thanks. Enjoy reading the questions on your forum.

You would need to re-register it each time either at a hotel where you stay or through the company that provides visa support (invitation) to you.
