Hello, I am trying not to repeat direction transport if I can, on a projected iteneary for next May. I arrive in Moscow, would like to spend time there, and in St Petersburg and then depart for Vienna. I am open for train and plane options... Any help in choosing options is appreciated...

From St. Petersburg there is no direct train connection down through the Baltics into Europe. You'd have to take a series of buses.

Better to fly.

I just did a quick flight search, Air Berlin and LOT will fly you from Peterburg to Vienna for about $200 US (one-way fare).
