Hi . I am after some information to help some Russian friends.
A young 19 year was involved in car accident on entry to Moscow from Yaroslavl's Road last Monday. Apparently been in a coma since. I have been told there are a lot of hospitals that an accident victim can be taken to. The problem is HOW to find the right one.
Does anyone know an easy way, other than to ring or visit every Moscow hospital, to find out? Is there a web directory of Moscows hospitals?

Hi,

The fastest way to find out is to contact the central information desk of Moscow hospitals.

You should prepare all the details you know about the person (name, date of birth, passport number, appearance), and try these phone numbers:

Information Desk where you can get information about emergencies and the casualties during the current day: 208-91-57

Same, but for all period: 928-95-72

Casualties Bureau: 284-31-39

251-83-00 (health department of Moscow) - 24 hours

777-77-77 (central information desk of Moscow government) - 9 to 18 daily

I hope these numbers will be enough. Don't forget to dial 8.. 095 if you're calling from outside of Moscow, and +7 095 if you're calling from abroad. Also, only Russian is spoken there. Good luck!
