Hello everyone,

My girlfriend's younger sister is interested in meeting a man for a serious relationship. She is attractive, kind, and speaks English fluently. May I suggest that you have a talk with her about placing a profile for her on a free UK dating site like http://www.thelovematch.com/

Set it up so that you jointly share the password so that you can preview and filter anyone who contacts her to get rid of the inevitable junk. And when she has the time to browse the profiles she can also make some contacts. But don't exchange more than a couple of messages through the site. If a man is serious, then he will be willing to switch to email and phonecalls without much hassle. It's best for her to set up a separate email account used only for these contacts at a site like mail.ru in case she runs into one of those obsessive types. That way she can easily delete the account without having to inform all of her friends about the problem.

I suggest the UK because it is an English speaking country where people are used to living with other cultures and it's only 2 and 1/2 hours from Moscow by air and because the UK gives visas to single Russian women. If you think ahead to a time when the relationship gets serious, she might like to see where her man lives, meet his friends and family, etc. This is straightforward with the UK on either a visitor visa or a student visa.

Don't believe it Mogs. She is a sister of Brent's Girlfriend. Brent is excellent guy, although I have not heard from him in a long while. Brent has been over many times and he knows what he talking about.
BTW he is another canuck from Winnipeg I believe.
