|

i've been unable to duplicate my unique style of bachelor cusine with russian ingediants, and i've still got about 6 weeks before i return to the land of frozen pizzas and cheerios. i'm starting to get sick of booterbroads and macaroni, so does anyone have any simple reciepies i could make with readily available russian ingrediants (as in from my local produkty store, no western style supermarkets )
also, my stylin' kitchen is limited to a hotplate... so frying or boiling are my only options here.
thanks a bunch!

soup:
buy 1 can of campbells chicken noodle
1) Grasp can opener with right hand, strap on can and rigourously twist the can opener until it opens
2) Gently pour soup into an aptly sized pot
3) Turn burner on to max
4) Bring to boil (if it burns ye lips when you taste, it's ready)
5) Carefully pour into bowl
6) Consume. |

thanks for the link!
and thanks for the soup recipe wanker, i'll keep that in mind when i'm living near a store that sells canned soup.
brandal: ive only been to one party here, as in rave... saw digweed and jimmy van m in moscow... just like a north american party, with an extra helping of marlboro ads everywhere. if you mean bars/clubs, i've been to many, and you can party 24hours a day if you have the energy, because a lot of clubs are open 24hrs, during the week many close around 5:30-6 (perfect time to catch the metro home).

| You should be able to get frozen pelmeni at the market. You boil them. You can put butter and sauteed onion and salt and pepper. It is pretty simple. Blini are also simple to make as you fry them and ingredients are simple You can put anything inside after their cooked- meat, sourcream, fruit etc. Those are the easiest Russian foods to prepare as far as I know. Iam not a fast food person and enjoy cooking. The Russian recipes I have tend to require time. But their worth it. |
