Does anyone have any info pertaining to personal experiences at Educacentre? I've been to the website and read what they had to say, but if anyone else could shed some light, I'd appreciate it.

I'd also be grateful if anyone has some info. on this school, planning to take a course with them this summer. The woman I've had contact with has been very helpful and friendly but I have had problems getting a visa with the invitation they provided. This might be a case of me having filled the form in wrong though - don't speak any russian yet!

Just returned from a couple of weeks learning Russian with Educacentre. I'd definitely recommend it - as it turned out there were only 2 people in my class, the teaching was really good. Well more than my money's worth!

I was curious about Educacentre, too. I had contacted them about lodging accommodations for an upcoming trip; we were not interested in courses. Their response was prompt and friendly.....indicating the cost of lodging which was very reasonable, but with an emphasis on offering tour guides when we arrived (at the cost of 7-12 euros per hour). We don't think we'll be using tour guides (depending upon the difficulty of getting around without knowing the language).

Has anyone had any experience with them only reserving lodging accommodations? And, if so, how were the accommodations? ...and, were they centrally located within walking distance of any sites?

Has anyone used their tour guides? About how many hours in a day are suggested when using a guide? Are they worth the money if you're on a relatively tight budget, or should you save the money for other things?
