Hi
I have a question to ask firstly. I am a young woman from the UK and i know a Russian man, i met him in the Uk, he has studied in America, worked in the UK and is now based in Moscow, he works in a very good job and is extremely educated, he travels all over the world for his job. We are recently in contact again after 5 years, a long time i know. However what i suppose i want to know is. Will he ever leave Russia? The best thing is to ask him right, i wanted to kow then when he returned but was to proud or silly to ask it. Now we are in contact again, and i think the world of him still. Do you think it would be easy to live in Moscow permanently od do you think there's hopehe may leave? Im asking this to anyone who is Russian as i have never been to Russia. How do you go about asking this question? |

If he's got a career there, then it depends on his personality plus what sort of relationships you have (going to have). Since he returned to Russia I assume he is aware what living abroad entails and will give you a very weighed opinion in time. It is hard to tell without knowing either of you.
As for you living in Moscow, it's best to ask a foreigner who already does. YOu can always go to sites like www.expat.ru and ask the question there. |

Thankyou for the replies, i appreciate it. It has been a long time since we spoke, so i dont want to rush in asking him life changing decisions,(just yet ha ha) when im just getting to know him again. Its just i have decided to show my feelings eventually i didnt the last time. I have lived in Amsterdam and have just returned to the UK myself and have realised theres noone quite like him. Also it took him a year to ask me out, he just used to pass and say hello, every day , by the time he did it was nearly time to leave, we didnt have enough time, i'm hoping this time will be different. Thanks for all the advice, i really appreciate it.
Wish me luck! |
