And they were unable to leave them because of indians. Thanks to yankees, indians got guns, and russian settlers were in big danger. selling alaska was the only right way.otherwise russia would lose it without any reward

Maybe, and I doubt it, there are people in the province of Chukhotka (the region bordering Alaska in the Bearing Straights) that might remember and regret the deal, but I highly doubt it. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find any Russians that really give a sh*t about it. Just my two cents, Intourist
