hktraveller Just Starting Joined: 19 Apr 2005 Posts: 1	Posted: Tue Apr 19, 2005 6:50 am    Post subject: visa registration in remote areas I will be entering Russia from Mongolia via car at TASHANTA of Gorno Altaisk Republic. My two companions and I plan only to stay for 2-3 nights, and do not plan to go far across the border. There appear to be only villages or small towns along the road for some way, though the road eventually gets to Novosibirsk, I believe. Is there any way we can register our visa in this situation (without having to go to Novosibirsk)? If we spend less than 72 hours in Russia, which is possible, do we need to register at all? Is your company able to provide the invitation letter for such a trip as ours? Would appreciate any advice you can offer. An excellent website. hktraveller
