America does not care whether you are a russian citizen or not. Cyndy is not trying to enter the US. She is trying to get a visa to enter russia. Her problem has nothing to do with the US and US policy. There are plently of US citizen that have 2 and even 3 citizenships. US does not require any documentation in order to leave the US and any US citizen with a US passport can enter the US without a visa no matter what his dual citizenship status. Cyndy's problem stems from the fact Russia does not let Russian citizens receive russian visas.

You are just one big meathead who can't really read, Mr. Spice as you tend to. Read what the state department says about dual citizenship. Even Cyndy, who recently dealt with officials from the Russian government said that Russia does not recognize dual citizenship with US which is what Cyndy's problem really was rather than Russian citizens getting Russian visa, as which Vic pointed out, that doesn't make any sense.

However, a person who acquires a foreign citizenship by applying for it may lose U.S. citizenship.
The United States does not favor dual nationality as a matter of policy but does recognize its existence in individual cases.

And you obviously don't understand the concept of dual citizenship. Dual citizenship simply means that you can keep the citizenship of your native and naturalized country without officially renouncing one or the other.
BTW there are no official instances of 3 citizenships. Either they are doing it illegally or you are lying. |

Mr. Spice,
My problem is resolved for the next few years since we applied for and received our son's new RU passport. Chuck is currently the one with this matter at hand. I don't know. Perhaps Chuck will be lucky and RU will give visa for his child, but that wasn't true for my family recently. Chuck, good luck. Let us know what happens. |

Why the hell should we issue visas to Russian citizens ?
Her problem was that she did not know if there would be a problem of him leaving the RF on his Russian Zagran passport. As I stated - there would be none. She has recieved the passport now (correct me if I am wrong) without any real problems. |

| I am in no need of any advice. We got everything settled. We leave Monday. Can't say I will miss this forum either, aside from a couple of people! Too much testosterone, egos, superiority re politics and thoughts in general, stereotypes, and other unpleasantries. Life is for the living and should not be a virtual reality. |
