Any Russian speaking people living in NYC area (NYC, CT, NJ) willing to teach Russian? will compensate for your time.

i would recommmend someone who doesn't only speak russian, but actually teaches russian already. they'd have their own course material and teaching method. more efficient than just a 'random russian'. should not be hard at all to find in new york city.

or you could look for (evening) classes somewhere..

I too am intersted in finding a Russian tutor in the North Florida area (specifically, Gainesville) I have been learning Russian on my own for about a year and have slacked off a little because I haven't had any speaking practice! If anyone is interested let me know, or if you know of someone....name your price.
