I've been researching homestays in some cities along the transiberian (and some off the transiberian) and I was wondering if anyone had any contacts/resources besides HOFA & Waytorussia.net's (no offense). For example, when I stayed in Prague I lived with a old Czech Woman who opened her door to travelers for $6 a night (my friend found this in an old guide book).

The cities we wondering about are (excuse spelling):

Moscow
Vladimir
Suzdal
Nizhny Novogrod
Kazan, Kugur
Yekaterinberg
Tobolsk
Irkutsk

Any ideas / resources?

thanks
-justin
