I am currently reading an excellent book called-
Running with Reindeer, Encounters in Russian Lapland, by Roger Took. He is British and writes fascinating, well written true stories of his adventures during a decade he spent living in Russian Lapland. It's a fairly new book, came out in 2004. For anyone who enjoyed the movie Kukushka (Cukoo), or simply is interested in reading great stories that take place in this wilderness area of Russian , I think you will enjoy this book. |
