September 1st to May 25th.
Holidays: All state holidays. Fall break is one week. Winter break is from Dec 23 to January 13. Spring break is a little over a week.
Every subject of the federation can choose their own days off but they have a quota. (They must have an x number of school days (Sept 1 - May 25th) off other than state holidays) Usually these coincide in all places give or take a day. Muslim republics will add a few days in december for Ramadan and give a shorter spring break or fall break (for example)

Almost the same
yet they have exams for almost the whole June (it depends from university, course, etc.)
they do not have autumn and spring breaks but have a month break after the exams in January (if the passed the exams, of course, those who didn't have a chance to try again during February)
