flying from Moscow to Berlin, Germany from Domodedovo on GermaniaExpress airlines. I chose this airline over German Wings because they fly out of Domodedova and the the Metro supposedly goes out to this airport. It is also supposedly one of the most modern of the Moscow airports.

The Metro does not go to Domodedovo. The electric train does. 120 rubles from Paveletskaya Metro station. I was there last week. The airport may be "modern" but it's a mess of construction right now.

I know that Russia is an amzing country.....
Confused Amazing....yeah....well....that's one way of putting it.

I wanted to apologize to Optima tours (www.optimatours.com) for a mistake I made regarding my hotel reservations in Moscow at the Hotel Rossia. I stayed there in October for three days.

I waited 3-4 days for a reply from Optima tours and grew impatient and tried to make other arrangements for a hotel in Moscow. The other company charged me $ 349.00 U.S. and then Optima responded and charged me approx. $ 279.00. I thought that I had been charged twice and created a post on this site. I was incorrect and cancelled the more expensive arrangements and did not correct my post here. This is in response to Optima tours request to make this correction.

Re: deskware7's entry for the link: http://www.cheap-moscow.com.

I tried Contacting "Uncle Pasha" about his Dutch Loft and he never contacted me back. I don't like his attitude. He's a pompious snob who thinks his shit does not stink because he thinks that he is providing a good service. I'm sure that he has provided legitemate service to many....but he only helps who he wants. I think he favors the female clientele.....

He has written on his website "Uncle Pasha is a grouch..." you've been warned! Smile

Aside from that, he runs some interesting services and it seems relatively foreigner-friendly.

overseas_expat - Pleasea note that the second paragraph in what is supposedly my quote.....I did not write. At that time I had never been to Domodedovo airport. It's amazing how people are SO....Literal. When I said Metro in my first paragraph, I assumed that it would be from the metro/train station and then a train to the airport. BFD. I get so tire of the Nit Picking on these kinds of forums....kind of what I'm doing right now...but I so seldom write posts that I don't feel so bad as the others that seem to live on sites like this to make themselves heard somehow ! Anyway....just note that the second and third paragraphs in my quote are not my words !
