Yes, you live in Britain, Wavetossed, but unfortunately have no idea what you are talking about.
Firstly, the asian baby incident wasn't a racist attack. The white man was trying to take the baby away who he claimed was his, which then got harmed in the struggle.
Hardly the same as Russian skinheads mutilating 9 year old girls, is it now, sunshine?
In any event, crime and murder rates in Britain are much less frequent and severe than in Russia. Yes there is the odd attack, the other week a black schoolkid got followed and axed to death by white racists, but such acts these days get noticed, and offenders get life in prison.
Murder Mile? LOL!
Wavetossed, Ripper, Ronnie and Reggie have left us, London's bad areas have moved on, certainly all you have done is shown that you don't know the real London at all.
Racism isn't half the problem you think it is over here, but still, please enlighten me as to exactly where it is in England where gangs of vicious white skinheads roam and create havoc freely?
Wait, a few years ago there were a few who went for a stroll over here, but then..

And then a few years later there were a few who decided to disrupt a Muslim wedding over there..

Yes this is England, people, not Afro-Pakistan. Don't see this sort of thing in Russia, do you?
Which is exactly the reason why skinheads in Britain are probably THE most harmless skinheads you can find anywhere in the world. Not all of them are inherently bad people, more like to follow the ideology(perhaps the most committed ones), and leave it at that.
It's part of what makes Britain such a great country..
No legions of idiots, no poisonous creatures, no uncontrollable crime rings, no exotic diseases, no earthquakes, no volcanoes, no guns, no wars, no brutal police, no lack of home, no lack of treatment, and unfortunately no such thing as a clear sky..
I would very much like to meet you for a couple of drinks in London sometime, Wavetossed, and hopefully try to capture an insight into your interpretation of my city. For some reason Through the Looking Glass seems so appropriate here.

But all these crimes happen so infrequently

Keep on reading those rape statistics, Mr Licken.. |
