Don't you get commissions on the services you offer on this site already? Booking apartments, arranging transfers, etc? Or at least charge for advertising such things?

Seems to me that you have a much stronger opportunity to derive revenue through content related sales than through trusting on donations.

And remember, also, when reviewing the results of this poll that if 10% of the people that say they would donate actually do donate, and if they donate 10% as much as they said they would, then you have done very well for yourselves. (Thus speaks the voice of experience Crying or Very sad

).

if you want to live only with bread an water, you can go this way...
but it is not very easy... and remember that you have to ask everybody, everytime, and everywhere...
