It has something to do with the death of a child, and is called "The Secret of St. Petersburg". Does anyone out there have any more information on this subject? And all of this during the St. Petersburg summer with it's famous white nights.. One of the jewels of this forum.. The only reason for this event I can think of is a solar eclipse, but even those do not happen very often!

Someone said that in St Petersburg there is a 3 day period when it never gets dark all day long. This poor soul didn't understand that this means it is LIGHT 24 hours per day during the white nights.

Come to think abou it, having the sky go dark for 3 days in a row during the white nights season it would be scary
