hi there,
Much had been talked or described about the Russian Mafia HQ in the computer games, I am just wondering whether there is a real physical Russian Mafia HQ in Moscow, and where is it, so that I make sure I am far far away from it, as I am going to Russia Moscow on a free & easy trip soon.... Shocked
Could some kind people in Russia tell me about this info...

THANKS Wink

That's easy. Take Polyanskaya streen to Arbatskaya Square. Turn left on Makedonskii avenue - and it's right there. You can actually see the sign: "Mafia HQ, Moscow".[/

Thanks for your info. Do YOU MEAN there is really a Mafia HQ,Moscow in Moscow, or is it a mock (joke) monument ? Are the police not doing anything about it? To play safe, do you know which hotels are nearby this HQ??

Dear tanch,

You should not listen to vitalsigns: he has been away from Moscow for a long time and seems completely disoriented on this one.

The mafia headquarters is actually near Ismailovo Hotel. It is recommended you don't come within a range of 3 kms from this place.

For any further information you should send a personal message to this board's user 'affirmo1314'. He is a specialist in off-the beaten-track Moscow and will most likely confirm what i have just said.

I better hope you're not from Singapore...

Now I remember why I moved to Moscow...

You better keep this kind of knowledge up to date: you could have brought this poor guy into lots of trouble. Moscow is no computer game Wink

Yes, we haved moved. There had been a shootout a couple of weeks ago. Some of my boys are camping at my apartment. We've been debating where to move our HQ next. I kinda like Hotel Ukraine. Killing and stealing works up big appetites, and their breakfrest buffet spread is the best in Moscow.

Now, tanch, if you think we're interested in you, we're not. We don't waste our time on 12 year old gamers.

In any case, watch out for a guy called Ivan: we're still looking for him. Ivan Ivanovich Ivanov. From Ivanovo i think he was. Bad guy. Stay out of his way: he's likely to attract lots of lead.

Vitalsigns is right, you should definitely come. If you feel too unsafe outside you can just stay in your hotel room and use the phone to order pizza (пицца) and other amusements.

Tanch,
I hear that the RU Mafia is recruiting in their own way persons interested in their mafia computer games. Maybe they'll send you a free ticket to Moscow.
