Something is clearly wrong here, as this isn't your normal run of behaviour.
At least have the decency to come forward and explain why it is you are leaving with such obvious abruptness..

It isn't right to try and make him feel that he must tell us why he chooses to retire. If he wants to he will, but please it has nothing to do with decency!!!
And just perhaps you might want to look at yourself in the mirror.

That's fair enough, and I hope you enjoy the rest.
But at least realize that what was said in that thread was a matter of discussion only, and don't take it too literally. I think we both learned a little from each other there, and that thread had a little divine purpose of it's own.

Although personally, I think having the free-time at the moment was the real cause of this departure rather than a repetitive cycle of debate matter.

You have an outspoken nature when it comes to religion, Vitalsigns, and I don't think you always see that, otherwise flames wouldn't affect you so much.

But I seriously think you should stay, even if only for the occasional post.
Sometimes the challenge that seems so hopeless can be the one that sets you free..

My reference to asking you to look at yourself in the mirror is a reflection and response to not only your recent post re V.S. choosing to leave this site, but your antagonisim toward not only his posts and views but others represented here. Sorry if it offends you but really you have done more than your share in this respect.

I don't think we need to put 'blame' with anyone. People with outspoken opinions will always find their encounters with the opposite camp on a forum. Vitalsigns left, with reasons of his own. It might be a good decision for him personally, regardless of his relation with any of the other regulars. Maybe he'll be back some day..

Xela, have you taken some time to read before you post? I can't say you're entirely diplomatic. You often smack on labels on people or call them names, or insult them personally. No matter how small or trivial they are, folks may very well take offense, and fail to see your arguments (many very good ones).

You may not find a similarly-written post offensive to you, but bear in mind that there are more sensitive people reading what you write. Yeah, yeah I know such softies, crybabies etc. etc. but that's the nature of many people on this forum.

Threads regarding politics, religion, gender issues and race are the easiest to spin out of control. It is easy to get oneself worn out there. Many others have said their farewells (in recent WTR history, Skip, e, Scarlett/lisa jo and vitalsigns have gone) after too many heated discussions there.
