Are you all partying on Fridays or something? It's like a complete ghost town on the forum on Fridays...

So, what do you all do on Fridays?

It is the time when people in offices spend more time at the coffee machine, or at the restaurant, and not working ( Very Happy ) at their desk. Friday afternoons are known for the fact that no one is there...
Fortunately some of us work seven days a week and keep this site alive!!!
Someone else picks up the dead bodies here... Crying or Very sad

I don't know this for certain, but some people may be writing posts from their workplaces Shocked Very Happy , which they are obviously absent from on weekends.

By the way mediashark, I just took a look at your Russian FAQs: very amusing... Laughing They remind of some funny questions I saw from tourists just before the Olympics a few years ago.

I head back home in only a few days' time (unfortunately!). However I plan to come back to Moscow in December '06 and stay for a while (at least for a year, and probably longer).

I lived in Moscow for a few years during Soviet days, and this is the first time I've been back since 1987. And if you'll pardon the understatement, it's changed since then. Shocked I remember GUM being especially different...

In fact I'd be interested in hearing what any locals think of the changes?(assuming they're old enough to remember Soviet times)

As much as I love you characters - I rarely visit the forums on the weekends because I'm already up to my eyeballs dealing with enough computer-related stuff during the weekdays as it is. It's a break from sitting in front of a monitor 40 hours a week. Right now, just thought I'd stop in briefly and take a quick peek.

Usually on Fridays I'll head home, pop in a DVD and enjoy a glass of wine - or two . . . or three. Wink

Ummm...Our Friday's lifestyle..
Drag twins outa bed and off for their baths at 6:30AM...FEED the little monsters breakfast about 7:00AM...drag them screaming to the truck about 7:45AM for school...drive them to school....snicker when I see them go into the building...come home to help wifey with some homely chores...listen to grumpy women clients about the changes they want in their new house plans that usuallly won't work...this last until about 11:00AM....do the WOMAN thingy with my wife then..SHOP SHOP SHOP...for groceries and anything else she thinks she can con me out of Smile..
Pick-up the twins from school at 2:15PM...one goes to tennis practice and one goes to soccer practice..about 5 miles apart!...do the race thing again about 4:30PM to fetch the little rascals and bring them back home...drag them to get baths again screaming because they have a "bad smelly smell" about them after their afternoon exercises...now here's the fun part of the day...
Where do we eat dinner tonight..WOW!...this usually brings on an almost knock down drag out fight... four people four different dinner wants..
Wifey usually wins the battle..I pay the bill!..whether I like the food or not.
Twins have tv's in their own bedrooms....nooo way...they sit in the den with wifey and myself going to blows over which channel to watch...
Wifey stays and judges the boxing match between the twins...I go out to my workshop and do woodworking Laughing
But, I doubt I would have it anyother way Very Happy

I guess it's a chain reaction - I look at this site on Friday, see no postings and post nothing myself. Someone has to take the lead...
