Could everyone please stop telling people they don't speak English that well? It's not the only forum where I come across that kind of things and it's starting to get on my nerves. I am myself Belgian (French-speaking) and can't see any reason why people *should* learn English before any other language (be it Russian, German, Dutch, Irish Gaelic or whatever) unless they have a real interest in English/American culture.
That, and the fact that every foreigner I meet on the web only seems interested in meeting 'native speakers', because otherwise you have obviously nothing to say and are a thouroughly boring person. (I do understand that they're learning English for professional reasons and so on, but there is still so much more to Europe.)
Oh well. Rant over. |

| I would think learning English would be a priority for Belgian people, it may give them a route out of the country. You can get a bit fed up of fries and mayo... |
