Hello Everybody,

I am a 19yr old british guy currently teaching english in hong kong. this june i intend to travel all the way back to england by rail. getting to moscow is fairly simple-train to beijing, then on the trans siberian. the difficult part seems to be getting from moscow to london. Has anybody here done this journey? If so what route did you take and how did you organise it? does anybody know of any travel agencies that could help me out. i want get things sorted out as soon as possible.

Hello,

The best route for you is Moscow-Riga-Warsaw-Berlin-London.
In this case you will avoid Belarus and will not need to get their visa. There is a frequent night train from Moscow to Riga. From their you can get to Warsaw and go on to Berlin.
The cheapest way to obtain tickets is -- buy it by yourself in ticket offices at the railway stations.
It is easy to get ticket to Riga (many trains, not so many tourists). To buy it you should go to the Rijzskiy railway station in Moscow.
