Hi,

I've been given some terms which I'm pretty sure I can work out, but being technical/medical I wondered if anyone can help me to make sure

The Russian terms are:
ïðîòåçèðîâàíïå ìåòðàëüíîãî è îðòðàëüíîãî êëàïàíà + øóìòèðîâàíèå

Under the circumstances, and using my (very slow) letter by letter translation I think it's the name of a heart valve operation to correct defects and damage to stenotic aortic and mitral valves, but it would be a great help if someone more knowledgable could give me the correct english medical terms please.

Thanks

Wrong spelling. Correct would be Ïðîòåçèðîâàíèå ìÈòðàëüíîãî è Àîðòðàëüíîãî êëàïàíà + øóÍòèðîâàíèå = Mitral and aortic valve replacement + bypass ( grafting ).

Thank you Jade, I really appreciate that. Maybe the spelling was because it was typed at an internet cafe whilst doing research - time is money! Wink
