Hello Im Tonio, I´m from Mexico
I will get married in Russia next August.
I have read enough information to get scared of the wedding procedures.

I think I will be able to fullfill the requirements, (including advices)
But I still have some questions..

How do people in Russia (ufa) celebrate weddings?
what are the traditions?

My fiance is orthodox, im catholic.

Do you make a party?

Im curious about this... any way I will ask my fiance ... what does she want to do?

please send me information and advices...

thank you... Tonio

Tonio,
I really hope you like parties! I have only been to three Russian weddings, and one was traditional. It was really a long one too. After the formal stuff, they had a great reception party, lots of food, and lots, I mean lots of Vodka. While people were still drinking, and having a good time the couple went like on a tour of the city, stopping at all the land marks for photo's. This was St.Petersburg, so the first stop was at a monument of Peter The Great, near St.Isaacs, where they took a bottle of vodka, and as tradition, broke the bottle on the monument for good luck. I'm sure there was a lot of things I didn't understand about this traditional Russian wedding. The party went on until late hours, and some had to be carried. I can only suppose it would be similar in Ufa, I don't know. The second wedding was mine, in St.Petersburg just over two years ago, but our wedding was done in my inlaws flat, but it was a great party too, just not so traditional. The third was my daughters. I gave my daughter away in her wedding outside of St.Pete, but that also was not traditional at all. Best wishes........
