Yummy, might I join the party on my fav topic!!
What s the point of this thread, MrSpice? Just dealing with some occasional boredom or a will to show how your hosting land is soooo much better than the country you fled?
I can t resist a few comments on what I read...
As far as i dislike the puppet, I reckon Dubya is not a racist, he s just an ignorant. He has never been living amongst poorer populations in the USA, they are just aliens to him. Wealthy black or hispanic populations are welcome in his network of influence, money has no odor, nor color.
The USA are generally the biggest global pollutioin contributor, due to consumerist habits. But the pollution is spread. There are some places in industrial areas in China where pollution forms permanent fogs (a bit like in London). A chinese tho pollutes 16 times less than a us american, and the very undemocratic China signed the Kyoto agreement.
Why should Russia be a democracy? Is it the people s will? Given the popularity of the Tzar Putin, I doubt it.
US american companies do steal global genetic resources, licencing vegetals that have been used for medicine for centuries. They refused to sign an international agreement recognising the anteriority of ownership of countries traditional medicines. This is clearly thievery.
Yes, the USA has the worst gun crime rate of all democracies due to the archaic 18th century old freedom to posess guns. It also have another record, the rate of prisoners per head, which is quite contradicting its freedom rethorics.
All in all, if the goal is to compare the uncomparable, the USA is a more confortable place to live, but russian girls....

Entropy,
You need to read my second post, as it answers almost everything that you just asked. Don't worry; I forgive you.
Pinnacle,
Not to be rude, but you are a complete asshole.
Bush's election was rigged, and this wasn't something Michael Moore came up with. Rather it is fact, and even if it weren't we all saw what quickly happened to opposers of the president shortly after 911; which didn't look too democratic to me.
Pollution in Ireland? Ireland is known for it's green hills and fresh air, people escape from the mainland to go and experience it, and you are comparing it to the world's most polluted nation according to scientists? Deluded..
I have experienced the United States first hand. I know exactly what I am talking about. And yes, I agree with you that no country is perfect, but, and here comes the big but, you deluded excuse for human life: not every country forces their bullshit version of freedom down other countries' throats until civil war breaks out.
Now go take your beautiful country and shut the fuck up. |

Dont' think that comment deserves the dignity of a response. |
Entropy racism and profiling is alive and well inside the U.S.A, by denying this as youve done in a previous post, you give the idea that whatever you dont personaly see, must not be going on. Thats not right and I dont think you have the right to ignore it. I dont personally witness gang violence but I am aware that it goes on quite frequently, so instead of making comments like you have above, why dont you try addressing the issue properly. I dont know if you are white or not, (I am) I know that I dont have to face the same kind of discrimination as alot of other people have to. I think by not dignifying it with a response, you are basically saying "its all bullshit". Anyway this is my observation. (nobody better flame this post) |

Are you refering to the fact that some airlines require fat people to buy an extra seat? I personaly dont think airlines should be forced to expand their seats to fit a fat butt unless they can sell the seat for more money, cause extra room means less seats, which means less profit. I get annoyed when I cant find my shoe size in a store, (I wear an 11) but then I have to remind myself that its called supply and demand. This means if I want a shoe in my size I must look elsewhere and pay more. Its annoying but I do understand. |

I guess that's true. My neighbour who is in her 50s has really tiny feet. She shops for shoes in kids' section almost every time she needs new shoes.
You wear size 11? How tall are you? I wear 12, so I assume you are like 5'8"-6' tall? |

Chill man. No one will ever know for sure if the election was rigged or not. Point is that its over and he is president until 2008 so stop whining about it.
As far as pollution goes, I've never visited any U.S. city where I was choking from auto exhaust. Forget about the green hills you see on the postcards for Ireland, the clean air laws aren't as stringent. Especially in Dublin where you can see the pollution in the air.
Also, just for clarification, what specifically are we forcing down your throat? |

Here is a few difference that you missed to mention:
Russians are generally in better physical shape than Americans
Russian women are prettier than Americans
The Islamic world loves Russians and hate Americans |

Pinnacle,
Just realised I never responded to you after my absence, but then decided to look back at what I wrote to cause such upset.
And you know what?
It was perfect.
