It looks great when written, it sounds great when spoken and even better when sung.

I'm learning Russian at night class and when I come home after 2 hours of Russian, my head feels like it has been slammed in a car door several times.

Is this normal when learning Russian?

Believe me pal, I know exactly what you mean. It is a wonderful-sounding language, both in speaking and in singing, and I like it very much indeed. Very Happy

Having said that, the grammar is very complicated...

zdravst-veech-eh

the "zd" combo KILLS me.

So yeah.

when looking at the words its quite hard to pronounce but once the word has been said to you i find that i can pick it up easily but yea man they hard
