Its been over two years since I last visited Russia and wanted to get some advice on what to say and what not to say when passing through the Customs line at Pulkovo Airport. Last time I was there, I was with a student group and I believe we said we were there as part of an education program. We also had reservations at a local hotel. This time around I'm going alone and staying with a friend who lives in St. Petersburg. When I applied for my visa, I wrote her name and address as the place I would be staying while in Russia so hopefully that won't be a problem. I have a 30 day dual-entry visa. So, what would you suggest as to what I should say when asked why I'm coming to Russia and any other questions I may face?

If they do, just say something that is consistent with your visa information. I believe you have a dual-entry tourist visa.? Then you're obviously a tourist...
