Not more that 10 USD. Don't forgert that when you're buying an LP, you pay a lot for LP's good reputation .... Furthermore WTR is - if I understand well - partly sponsored.

A good benchmark is IMO the "coast to Coast" backpacking guide of South Africa (www.coastingafrica.com) which is BTW for free!

Dmitri,
20 US is a fair price. Thinking along timewriter's thoughts and the fact that things are a tad volatile (stuff like internet cafes opening/closing/moving, exchange rates etc), what about the idea of a PDF format or Web page "Information Update" as an addendum to your guide so that if anything changes that you know about people can read it on your site. You could then (depending on when you publish) incorporate this addendum into the next edition of the guide. This would keep you a step and a half ahead of LP Laughing

Regards

Was this project continued? It seemed like a good initiative to launch a printed WayToRussia publication, even with the issues on some information aging quickly.
Given my background as urban designer (and map crazy person) i am particularly interested if and how the issue with the maps was dealth wit..
