Hi, I will be studying Russian at the Special Department of Philology of the St. Petersburg State University. I have to decide whether to stay with a host family or live in the student dormitory. Does anyone want to share his experience of being a language student in St. Pete? All comments are welcome.

It brings so much more because you always have to talk to them in Russian ... dormitory I can't share my experience, if you're with a Russian that's nice but if it's other foreigners you'll probably end up speaking English or so. I stayed half year with a family and it was a great time!
